Sahib-e-Asra (born 19 July 1997)[1] is a athlete from Pakistan. She specialises in the sprint events: 100m, 200m and 400m.

Background[]

Asra's father, Qari Alam Khan who is the imam of a local mosque in Faisalabad is supportive of his daughter's endeavours.[2][3]

Career[]

Asra competed at the junior level, both nationally and internationally.[4]

National[]

In national competitions, she represents WAPDA.[5] At the 2018 National Athletics Championships, she won gold in the 100m in a time of 11.60.[6] At the 33rd National Games held in Peshawar, she won a gold medal in 4 × 400 m[7] and 3 silver medals in the 100m,[8] 200m[9] and 400m.[10]

International[]

Asra represented Pakistan at the 13th South Asian Games held in Kathmandu, Nepal in December 2019 where she claimed 3 medals:[11] a bronze medal in 400m and a silver and bronze in 4 × 400 m and 4 × 100 m respectively.
