R Rajendran (Born on 3 June) is an Indian Politician in Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam.He is a Member of Legislative Assembly in Tamil Nadu representing The Salem North Constituency Since 2016 to Present. He had also Represented Panamaruthupatty Constituency in the years 2006–2011.

He was born in a village in Valappady,Salem District,Tamil Nadu,India.

He is Popularly Recogonized as Panamaruthupatty Rajendran.He is Currently the Secaratry of Salem Central District DMK.[3][4][5]
