Salinispora tropica is an obligate marine actinomycetes bacterium species. It produces salinosporamide A and , potential anti-cancer agents,[1][2][3] as well as the polycyclic macrolides sporolide A and B.[4] The type strain is CNB-440T (= ATCC BAA-916T = DSM 44818T).
