Samir Mahmoud Ahmed Gouda (born 3 May 1972) is an Egyptian retired basketball player and current coach. He currently serves as assistant coach for Zamalek of the Egyptian Basketball Super League.

Standing at 2.17 m (7 ft 1+12 in), he played as center and was a member of the Egypt national basketball team. He represented his country at the 1994 FIBA World Championship.[1] He tied a tournament record for most rebounds in a game with 16 rebounds in a 76–69 win over Canada.[2]

Gouda started his career with the Pirates de Cebradilla in the Puerto Rican Baloncesto Superior Nacional (BSN).[3] He signed in Greece in 1995, where he would spent four seasons with four different teams. In 1990, Gouda played with Al Riyadi Beirut, before signing in Egypt with Zamalek. In 2003, he played for Fenerbahçe in Turkey.[4] He finished his career back in Egypt with Al Ahly.
