Samra is the second solo album by the French raï singer Faudel. It reached number 27 on SNEP, the French Albums Chart and also charted in Belgium and Switzerland.[1]
Album info[]
The album contains 13 songs, most of them in Arabic, and Faudel participated in writing almost all of the songs on the album, accompanied by Nabil Al-Khalidi, who distributed with Goh Hotoda. Musically Samra remained faithful to the traditions of rai with the addition of synthetic rhythms and Arab pop features in addition to Latin touches, the lyrics of all songs focused on love with the exception of one song in which he referred to Montes La Jolie, the city in which the artist was born .
