Samsung's Galaxy A5 (2016) is a mid-range Android smartphone developed by Samsung Electronics as a part of Samsung Galaxy A series. The phone is powered by Exynos 7580 SoC with a 1.6 GHz processor. It has 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage that is expandable up to 128 GB. It has accelerometer, geomagnetic sensor, hall sensor, proximity sensor and RGB light sensor. Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016) has an aluminium and glass body, unlike Samsung Galaxy A5 (2015), the A5 (2016) has a larger 5.2-inch display compared to the 5-inch display of predecessor Galaxy A5. The A5 (2016)’s display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4, also on the back side of the phone.[1]

Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016) was released in China on 15 December 2015. As of April 2016, the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016) is now available in Europe,[2] Africa, Latin America and Asia. As of 18 May 2016, the phone has been introduced to North America.[citation needed]
