Samuel Friebele

Samuel Friebele (died 1849) was a German immigrant and merchant pioneer of Tampa, Florida along with his older brother Christopher Friebele.
He was originally buried at Fort Brooke's civilian burying ground and was later one of the first interments at downtown Tampa's Oaklawn Cemetery. His epitaph states: "Now, as no better we can do, we love each other for sake of you, and trust in God to meet you again, in Heaven together to remain.".[1]
