Samuel Gibson

Samuel Gibson (1790 – 1849) was a British botanist. [1] Described as an "", Gibson had little formal education, but was an associate of Henry Baines and assisted Baines with his 1840 work .[2]

The standard author abbreviation S.Gibson is used to indicate this person as the author when citing a botanical name.[3]
