Sarah Papp (née Hoolt, born 30 April 1988) is a German chess player who holds the title of Woman Grandmaster (WGM, 2012).

Chess career[]

From 2001 to 2006 Sarah Hoolt participated in German Girls' Championships and won this tournament in 2006 (age category U18). From 2004 to 2008 she participated in European Youth Chess Championships and World Youth Chess Championships. In 2011 in Bonn Sarah Hoolt won German Women's Championship.[1]

Sarah Hoolt played for Germany in European Team Chess Championship:[3]

  • In 2011, at reserve board in the 9th European Team Chess Championship (women) in Porto Carras (+2, =0, -5).

In 2008 she awarded the FIDE Woman International Master (WIM) title, but in 2012 - Woman grandmaster (WGM) title.[4]

Personal life[]

She married Hungarian grandmaster  [hu; de; fr] in September 2019.[5]
