Sasha Berliner

Sasha Berliner (born June 20, 1998) is an American award-winning vibraphonist.[1][2] She was born in San Francisco.[3]

In January 2019, she won the Rising Stars Jazz Award, sponsored by LetterOne. The prize was a seven-city tour of North America, including dates at jazz festivals in Canada and the United States.[4]

Sasha Berliner is part of drummer-composer Tyshawn Sorey's newest sextet, formed in 2018, and has played with musicians such as Nicholas Payton, Quincy Davis, and Warren Wolf in addition to her own group. She signed on as an artist with drumstick and mallet company Vater in 2019, and later in the year joined mallet instrument company Marimba One's roster of artists, along with vibraphonist Jason Marsalis.
