Saurabh Raj Jain (born 1 December 1985) is an Indian actor and former model who works in Hindi television and gained popularity by playing the character of Lord Krishna in Mahabharat (2013–14), Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev (2011-14) and Mahakali (2017–18).[2] Additionally, he has acted in several other shows including Kasamh Se, Uttaran, Chandragupta Maurya and Patiala Babes and participated in the 2019 dance reality series Nach Baliye 9 along with his wife Riddhima Jain.[3] He participated in Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 11[4] in 2021.

Personal life[]

Sourabh married Riddhima Jain in 2010, after three years of dating. They have participated together in the show Nach Baliye 9. The couple gave birth to twins Hrishika and Hrishiv on 21 August 2017.[5]

Career[]

Saurabh starred in his debut show, Remix (2004). He further acted in a Hollywood film Karma, but became a household name after acting in Ekta Kapoor's Parichay. His breakthrough came by acting in the show Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev, where he played the role of Lord Vishnu. He then acted in Swastik Productions' Mahabharat (2013), in the titular role of Lord Krishna, which he described as a "game-changer" for his career.[6] He then acted in Mahakali - Anth Hi Aarambh Hai as Lord Shiva, and then as Vishnu again in the Telugu film Om Namo Venkatesaya. He also played negative roles in the shows Porus and Chandragupta Maurya as emperor Dhana Nanda. He then also played Neil in Patiala Babes.[7][8]
