Schauspielhaus

Schauspielhaus is the German word for a theater intended to show plays. Many towns, namely in Germany, have municipal theaters which operate different venues: one for musical theater, frequently called Opernhaus (Opera House), and another for plays. Both are commonly referred to as Bühnen (stages).
