Schwall Peak

76°51′S 160°54′E / 76.850°S 160.900°E / -76.850; 160.900Coordinates: 76°51′S 160°54′E / 76.850°S 160.900°E / -76.850; 160.900) is a peak rising to 1,200 m (3,900 ft) in southern Convoy Range, adjacent to Staten Island Heights, 3.4 mi (5.5 km) west-northwest of Mount Gunn. It is named for , the first female in Antarctica, who specialized in logistics, and air and ship operations (1988–91). She became the with (1991–96) and was central during the transfer of supply and transportation logistics from the military to civilian support.
