Scott Koblish[1] (/ˈkblɪʃ/ KOH-blish[2]) was born on May 28, 1970 in upstate New York, and has hundreds of comics credits at[3] both Marvel Comics[4] and DC Comics.[5]

Education[]

Scott Koblish attended The Kubert School of Cartooning and Graphic Art when he was nine years old[citation needed]. He graduated from The School of Visual Arts in Manhattan with a BFA in Cartooning and Illustration.

Bibliography[]

Scott Koblish entered a Marvel Comics apprentice program in the early 1990s[citation needed]. His work appeared in 90's era Marvel Comics titles like GI Joe, The Punisher, Elektra, and Excalibur.

He inked the Marvel Comics Star Trek/X-Men crossover "Second Contact"and was inker on Captain America,.[6] He pencilled and inked the character Deadpool for 6 years.[7][8] He also pencilled the "Jet Pack Pets"[9] for Disney and drew Stan Lee Media's the "7th Portal".[10]

In 2018, Chronicle Books Published The Many Deaths of Scott Koblish,[11] cartoon strips by the artist in which he lampoons his own demise.

He drew (pencilled and inked) the art for Deadpool #27 which set the Guinness World Record for most characters to appear on a comic book cover.[12]

Personal life[]

Scott Koblish has a daughter and is married to Jillian Koblish [13] He resides in Los Angeles, CA.
