Scott Krug (born September 16, 1975) is a Wisconsin politician and legislator.

He graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay with a degree in psychology in 2009. He was elected to the Wisconsin State Assembly in 2010.[1][2]

Krug was vice chairman of the Assembly's Environment Committee in 2018. In 2016, he refused to provide electronic records in response to a request from the Wisconsin Freedom of Information Council, made under Wisconsin state open records law, for emails from his government accounts related to water and wetlands issues over a four-month period. Krug instead insisted that the records be produced to the requestor in paper printout form, increasing the expense and making it more difficult to search.[3][4] In January 2018, a judge ruled Krug must release the documents electronically.[3][4] Krug lost his appeal in the Wisconsin Court of Appeals.[4]
