Current: 2021–22 SWF Championship

The Scottish Women's Football Championship is the third tier of women's football in Scotland. It is split into North and South regions, with one team from each region promoted to SWPL 2. From the 2020 season, the league replaced SWFL 1 as the third tier.[1][2]

The inaugural 2020 Season and the subsequent 2020–21 season were both declared null and void by the SWFA due to the coronavirus pandemic.[3][4] This was done to allow the SWFA to focus on preparations for the 2021–22 season instead.
