Sean Rea (born 15 May 2002) is a Canadian professional soccer player who plays as a forward for Valour FC, on loan from CF Montréal.
Early life[]
Rea was born in Montreal, Quebec, and grew up in the borough of LaSalle and the neighbouring city of Laval.[1][2] He began playing football at age four with local club Saint-Léonard.[3][2]
Club career[]
CF Montréal[]
In 2014, Rea joined the academy of Major League Soccer side Montreal Impact.[2] He signed his first professional contract with the club in December 2020, and was subsequently loaned out to Canadian Premier League side Valour FC.[1][4] On 27 June 2021, Rea made his professional debut for Valour as a starter in the opening match of the 2021 season.[5] Upon completion of the 2021 MLS season, CF Montréal would announce that they would exercise the option on Rea's contract for 2022.[6] In 2022, he returned to Valour on loan.[7]
