Sekkingstad is a village in Øygarden municipality in Vestland county, Norway. It is situated on the west side of the island of Store Sotra. Sekkingstad is the site of a fish factory, which exports fish to countries such as Russia and Japan. The 130-metre (430 ft) tall mountain lies just northeast of the village.

The 0.54-square-kilometre (130-acre) village has a population (2019) of 588 and a population density of 1,089 inhabitants per square kilometre (2,820/sq mi).[1]
