Selva is a 1996 Indian Tamil-language romantic action film directed by A. Venkatesh.[1] The film starring Vijay, Swathi, Reeva and Raghuvaran. The music is composed by Sirpy. It was based on the 1966 Tamil film Naan Aanaiyittal. The film was an average venture, and Vijay performed a risky jump stunt in the film.[2] The song "Chicken Kari" sung by Vijay was a hit number.
