Serenje District is a district of Zambia, located in Central Province. The capital lies at Serenje. As of the 2010 Zambian Census, the district had a population of 158,255 people.[1] The district contains .
Serenje Solar Power Station, the largest solar power station in Zambia, as of July 2021 is under development in the district, by Ultra Green Corporation Zambia Limited, a 100 percent subsidiary of Ultra Green Corporation Inc., an independent power producer, based in the United States.[2][3]
