Sermitsiaq[further explanation needed] (English: Saddle Mountain) is an iconic mountain located north-east of Nuuk, the capital of Greenland. The mountain is 1210 meters (3,970 ft) tall and creates its own island around it on the Nuup Kangerlua (sea). Sermitsiaq is known for being visible from Nuuk.
