Sexual and Reproductive Health Matters (SRHM), formerly Reproductive Health Matters (RHM),^[1] is an open-access peer-reviewed academic journal of sexual and reproductive health and rights. The journal was established in 1993 by Marge Berer.^[2] The Founding Director and Editor, Marge Berer, led RHM since its inception until 2015 when she handed over responsibilities to Dr Shirin Heidari who became the Editor-in-Chief and Chief Executive of the organisation. Under her leadership, the journal transitioned to an open access, online publication. In 2018, Heidari handed responsibility to Dr Julia Hussein as Editor-in-chief and Eszter Kismödi as Chief Executive.
