Shamur

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Shamur is a music group formed by Italian producers, Emanuele Marascia and Sandro Murru, the same producers of Kortezman and Marascia. Shamur are signed to an exclusive multi-album worldwide deal with DSE Records, and Universal Music Group in the UK.[1]

Their style is a combination of Eastern atmospheres and the classic European style. The male singer comes from Punjab, India, while the female voice belongs to a Sardinian woman, Teresa Solinas, best known as Terry. Shamur obtained success in Greece in summer 2005, when they reached the top position on the music charts.[citation needed]

Shamur's debut song was "Let the Music Play",[1] released in 2004,[2] followed by "Gonna Make It".[2] "Let the Music Play" was remade and released in 2021 by Sachin-Jigar for the Film 'Roohi'.[3] The re-released version of the song reached No.2 on the UK Asian Music Charts.[4]
