Sharafkhaneh (Persian: شرفخانه; also Romanized as Sharafkhāneh, Sharifkhane, Sharifkhaneh, and Sheraf-Khane; also known as Bandar-e Sharafkhāneh)^[2] is a city in the Central District of Shabestar County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. Sharafkhaneh is situated on Lake Urmia. At the 2016 census, its population was 4,244, in 1,446 families.^[3]
