Sharvari Wagh (born 1996) is an Indian actress who works in Hindi films. She started her career in the film industry as an assistant director and later made her acting debut with Amazon Prime Video's web series The Forgotten Army - Azaadi Ke Liye (2020). She made her film debut with Yash Raj Films's Bunty Aur Babli 2 in 2021.[1]

Early life[]

She was born in a Marathi family in 1996. Her parents are Shailesh Wagh, a builder and Namrata Wagh, an architect. She studied at Mumbai's The Dadar Parsee Youths Assembly High School and Ruparel College.[1] Manohar Joshi, former chief minister of Maharashtra, is her maternal grandfather.[2]

Career[]

Wagh has said she worked as an assistant director in the movies Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, Bajirao Mastani and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety.[2] She said she had been auditioning since 2014 for a main role in movies, before getting one in Bunty Aur Babli 2,[3] which was released on 19 November 2021.[4]
