Plot[]

Savita Toshniwal, a middle-aged ardent devotee of Goddess Lakshmi, runs a snack shop in Ratlam along with her husband but faces a financial crisis, for which she blames Lakshmi. When Lakshmi feels that Savita is considering her as a "shortcut", she descends on Earth in a human avatar to meet Savita and explain to her the true meaning of Lakshmi. While guiding her on a journey of self-transformation, Lakshmi makes Savita realise that God cannot perform miracle – God can only provide opportunities, but it is the devotee who must accept the opportunity and perform the miracle.

Further in the story, Goddess Lakshmi notices that Savita's family consists of all of the seven sins/ flaws: Anger, Greed, Ego, Envy, Sexual lust, Laziness, and Overprotective Love.[1] With time and under Lakshmi's mentorship, Savita realises and accepts these flaws in her family; simultaneously, several circumstances and incidences result in each member of the family correcting their flaws and letting go of their sins.

The Toshniwal family, which was once filled with sins and quarrels, slowly transforms into a happy family with Goddess Lakshmi's blessings and Savita's realisation of the true meaning of Lakshmi.

However, Goddess Lakshmi once goes against the laws of nature and brings Savita back to life from the dead. As a downside of Lakshmi's action, her evil sister Alakshmi arrives and plots to get revenge from her by extinguishing Savita's faith in Lakshmi. Maya[disambiguation needed] loses her child due to the arrival of Alakshmi. Savita considers Alakshmi to be Lakshmi and worships her from the heart, due to which the powers of Alakshmi start increasing and she shows her effect. She asks Savita to uproot the Tulsi plant in her courtyard. Savita's mind does not ask to do so and she apologizes to Goddess Lakshmi for this. This plan of Alakshmi does not succeed. Then, she scatters gold coins all over Savita's house. The family members of Savita get these coins. Indulging in this greed, Savita's elder sister, Kavita, asks her husband, Alakh, to pretend sick in order to grab the house along with the gold coins. Falling into his trap, Niranjan signs the papers of the house. The next day, Kavita forcefully throws Savita and her family out of the house with their suitcases. Savita's family has now come on the road but they did not give up. Savita and her family took shelter in their ancestral shop, Sukh Sagar Namkeen after being thrown out of their own house. Shreya sits on a mat outside Kavita's house. Later, Savita also comes to Shreya's help. But Kavita sends goons to get them both out of there. On the other hand, Niranjan is bitten by a scorpion, then Savita goes there to help him. Kavita's sent goons start chasing Shreya but Goddess Lakshmi comes in disguise there and helps Shreya. After all this, Shreya makes a plan to take their home back from Kavita with the help of the family members and she also succeeds in it.
