Side Show Freaks is the debut studio album by the American metal band 40 Below Summer. It was originally recorded and self-released in 1999, then later re-released in 2008.
Allmusic's Alex Henderson gave the album three and a half-stars in 2008. He writes "Side Show Freaks -- basically, Limp Bizkit meets Slipknot meets Rage Against the Machine (minus the political rants) meets Korn -- doesn't pretend to point rap-metal in any new directions. But darned if in your face tracks such as "I'm So Ugly," "Untied," "I'm Still Bleeding," and "Suck It Up" aren't infectious and hooky."[1]
