Siekierczyn [ɕɛˈkʲɛrt͡ʂɨn] (German: Geibsdorf) is a village in Lubań County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] It is the seat of the administrative district (gmina) called Gmina Siekierczyn. Prior to 1945 it was in Germany. Following World War II the native German populace was expelled and replaced by Poles.

It lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) west of Lubań, and 130 kilometres (81 mi) west of the regional capital Wrocław.

As at 2006 the village has an approximate population of 1,800.

In the late 1850s a number of Geibsdorf families including that of Daniel Hermann Gotthelf Goeldner migrated to Australia to establish the earliest free settlement in Moreton Bay New South Wales, now Brisbane Queensland.
