SIGNY is an American indie, electropop duo from Austin, Texas, consisting of singer-songwriters Amy Arani and Delaney Gibson. Their music has been described as "captivating and sensory-stimulating," with hypnotic melodies and infectious beats.[1]

Band history[]

Years after having met through Myspace, singer-songwriters Amy Arani and Delaney Gibson formed SIGNY in 2015, after each had independently moved to Austin, Texas.[2] With a goal of creating alluring pop songs laced with elastic beats and ethereal soundscapes, the two musicians named their band SIGNY (deriving from the legends of two heroines from Scandinavian mythology). The duo signed with "Independent Label Alliance" but are now independent; their first release being "Human."[3] They have since had songs used by fashion designer Jake,[4] and the television series The Bold Type. SIGNY's debut album, "Water", produced by Grammy and Oscar nominated Bartholomew, will be released in 2018.[2]

SIGNY currently tours in the greater Austin area and has played prestigious festivals such as South by Southwest.[5][6][7]
