Silivas (gymnastics)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Silivas, or double double, is a move on the floor exercise in artistic gymnastics. The gymnast enters the tuck position and completes two somersaults and two twists in mid-air. The skill is named after Romanian Olympic Champion Daniela Silivaș. It is one of the hardest skills to perform on floor; it is an H-rated skill in the 2013–2016 Code of Points.

A more difficult variant on the Silivas is performing it in the laid-out position. The move is officially known as a Moors after Canadian gymnast Victoria Moors, who became the first gymnast to complete the move in competition at the 2013 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Antwerp, Belgium. The Moors is an I-rated skill, the hardest skill in the Code of Points.
