Sir John Geers Cotterell, 1st Baronet (21 September 1757 – 26 January 1845) was a British politician. He served as the Conservative Member of Parliament for Herefordshire from 1802 to 1803, and from 1806 to 1831.

John Geers Cotterell was born on 21 September 1757.[1][2]

Career[]

Cotterell was a squire, or large landowner, in Hereford.[1]

He served as the Conservative Member of Parliament for Herefordshire from 1802 to 1803, and from 1806 to 1831.[1]

He became the 1st Cotterell Baronet of Garnons in the County of Hereford in 1805.[3][1]

Personal life[]

He married Frances Isabella Evans on 4 January 1791.[1]

Death[]

He died on 26 January 1845.[1][2]
