Soap on a Rope is an invention that consists of a bar of molded toilet soap that is attached to a loop of rope through a hole in the soap.[1][2][3]

The user is meant to place the rope loop over their head or around their wrist to prevent the soap bar from falling to the floor.[2]

In the 2001 film Freddy Got Fingered, Gord Brody finds a Soap on a Rope thinking it is a "treasure" in his father's SCUBA gear.
