Social Christian Sicilian Union

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Social Christian Sicilian Union (Unione Siciliana Cristiano Sociale, USCS) was a Christian-leftist Italian political party active in Sicily. Its best electoral result was in 1959, when it won 10.6% of the votes and got elected nine regional deputies.

Its leader Silvio Milazzo briefly became President of Sicily (1958–60) with the support both of communists and neofascists, a unique case in all Italian political history.
