Sonarika Bhadoria (born 3 December 1992) is an Indian actress. She is known for her portrayal of Goddess Parvati / Adi Shakti in Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev, Mrinal in Prithvi Vallabh - Itihaas Bhi, Rahasya Bhi and Anarkali in Dastaan-E-Mohabbat Salim Anarkali.[1][2]
Early life[]
Bhadoria is a Rajput clan of chambal river region.[3] She was born and raised in Mumbai.[4] She attended Yashodham High School and completed her pre-university education at D.G. Ruparel College.[citation needed]
Career[]
Television (2011–present)[]
Bhadoria made her television debut in 2011 with Life OK's Tum Dena Saath Mera where she played the protagonist Abhilasha.[5][6] She went on to play Parvati in Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev.[7] In 2018, she played the role of Mrinal in Sony TV's Prithvi Vallabh - Itihaas Bhi, Rahasya Bhi opposite Ashish Sharma. From October 2018 to January 2019, Bhadoria played Anarkali in Colors TV's Dastaan-E-Mohabbat Salim Anarkali.[8] In 2019, she portrayed Netra Sharma in Colors TV's Ishq Mein Marjawan.[9][10]
Debut in films (2015–present)[]
In 2015, Bhadoria made her debut in Telugu cinema as Parvathi in Jadoogadu. She was also signed by Bhimaneni Srinivasa Rao in Speedunnodu, the Telugu remake of the 2012 hit romantic drama film Sundarapandian.[11] The film was released in February 2016 to positive reviews and she was praised for her performance.[12] Her second release in 2016 was the successful Telugu film Eedo Rakam Aado Rakam.
She signed to play the lead role in her debut Hindi film Saansein, directed by Rajiv S Ruia, opposite Rajneesh Duggal.[13]
