South Broad Valley

South Broad Valley is an unincorporated community and neighborhood within the city of Newark in Essex County, New Jersey, United States. It borders South Ironbound, Dayton, Lower Clinton Hill, Springfield/Belmont and The Coast. It is bounded by McCarter Highway, Peddie St, Irvine Turner Blvd, Avon Ave, Clinton Ave, Lincoln Pk, Pennsylvania Ave and South St. The area is a residential neighborhood with Elizabeth Ave, Frelinghuysen Ave and Broad St running through it (all north-south roads). The neighborhood is home to the locally well-known Malcolm X Shabazz High School and two small parks: Milford Ave. Park, and one on Pennsylvania Ave.
