Southern Lehigh High School is a four-year public high school located in Center Valley, Pennsylvania, in the United States. It is the only high school in the Southern Lehigh School District.
The school's mascot is the Spartan, and the school colors are blue and white.
History[]
Southern Lehigh was built in 1955. Before that, some students in the district attended high school at Allentown High School while others attended Coopersburg High School (which closed when Southern Lehigh opened later in 1955).[2]

Southern Lehigh provides a variety of sports. For boys, baseball, basketball, cross county, football, golf, lacrosse, swimming, tennis, track & field, volleyball, and wrestling are provided. For girls, basketball, cross county, field hockey, football, lacrosse, tennis, softball, swimming, cheerleading, track & field, volleyball, and winter track are provided.
The school's athletic teams belong to Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association District XI[3] and most sports belong to the district's Colonial League.
Student organizations and clubs[]
FIRST Robotics team[]
Southern Lehigh High School's FIRST Robotics Competition team, the Spartechs,[4] has participated in the FIRST Robotics Competition since 2002. The Spartechs' team number is 834.[5] The robotics team has competed at the FIRST Championship in 2016 and 2017.[6]
Speech and Debate team[]
Southern Lehigh's speech and debate team was started in 1992 and has competed at multiple national and state tournaments.[7] It has recorded 5 PHSSL state champions.[8][9][10][11][12] The team competes in the Pennsylvania High School Speech League, the National Catholic Forensic League, and the National Speech and Debate Association competitions.[13]
