In 1952, the engine was sold to the in Morehead, Kentucky. Renumbered 12, the locomotive operated on the M&NF until the road dieselized on April 1, 1963.[1] After the engine was retired, it remained stored in one of the road's engine sheds. Here, the engine was restored to operating condition, and operated for the first time on 16 July, 2018.[2]
