Southpointe Academy is a private K–12 school in Canada Tsawwassen, British Columbia, Canada. It is secular and co-educational, and has approximately 550 students.[citation needed] It follows the International Baccalaureate, IB Middle Years and IB Primary Years programs as well as the AP Capstone program.[citation needed] The school moved to a new building in 2012.[1] The school offers various fine arts programmes including visual arts & design, theatre, and a band program that focuses on concert band.[2] The band won gold at MusicFest Canada in June 2017 for its wind orchestra led by Boris Pekarsky. Pekarsky was disciplined in 2019 for telling a student to "kill yourself".[3]

Southpointe is certified as a provider of the International Baccalaureate program for both Middle and Primary years
