Spectral Visions of Mental Warfare is the seventh full-length album of the black metal band Nargaroth. This album, a collaboration with Trähn (Nychts) has been recorded in Eastern Germany and Switzerland. The artwork on the cover is Melencolia I, by Albrecht Dürer.
The spoken parts in "A Whisper Underneath the Bark of Old Trees" are taken from the 1931 film "M" by Fritz Lang.
The title track has been featured on the 2012 compilation "Cold Black Metal".[1]
