Spellbinder (board game)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Spellbinder is a 1980 board game published by Task Force Games.

Gameplay[]

Spellbinder is a game where the chief wizard has left to go conquering, and each of the four remaining wizards decides to assume his position.[1]

Reception[]

David Ladyman reviewed Spellbinder in The Space Gamer No. 33.[1] Ladyman commented that "Despite the impressive number of names listed in the credits (including five playtesters), I get the distinct impression that this little [...] game was not felt worthy of the careful design and playtesting most wargames receive before issue. I find it regrettable that Task Force's fantasy games are not living up to the reputation of their other releases."[1]
