Spin is an industrial metal band from the Maltese Islands. The band was originally formed by and in 1999 who released the first demo CD named Pead. The style started taking a more electronic and industrial form later on, with joining in on samples, on bass, and on guitars. This latter lineup produced the next CD release entitled in 2002. It was reviewed by major magazines and was appreciated by the metal community in general.

Spin suffered other lineup changes and settled down in mid-2004 with Simon Deguara on vocals, on bass, on drums, and Josef Bajada on guitars and sample programming. This lineup saw the production of the latest CD release self-titled Spin in 2005, recorded at Temple Studios in Malta, showcasing an ultimate timbre of industrial metal at its best.
