Srinivas Prabhu

Srinivas Prabhu is an Indian film actor in the Kannada film industry and a theatre artist in Karnataka, India.[1] Some of the notable films of Srinivas Prabhu as an actor include Bimba - Those 90 Minutes (2018),[2] Kanooru Heggadithi (1999) etc.

Personal life[]

Srinivas Prabhu did his MA from Central College in Bengaluru, securing the first rank. He graduated from National School of Drama in 1981.[3]

Career[]

He worked as a voice-over dubbing artist for Ravi Chandran in his films such as Premaloka, Anjada Gandu and Ranadheera.[2][4] He was part of many soap/serials including Janani, Aasare, Sanje Mallige, Muktha, Naaku Thanthi, Kutumba, Maneyondhu Mooru Bagilu, Gupthagamini, Kadambari, Geethanjali, Thakadhimi Thaa and Punyakoti etc.[3][1]

He is a Hindustani singer, trained by Shyamala Bhave. Srinivas Prabhu wrote the lyrics for 13 songs in the play ′Gulle nari′ (an adaptation of Benjamin Jonson's Volpone).[3]
