The St. Ann Cathedral[1] (Portuguese: Catedral Sant’Ana) Also Caicó Cathedral Is a Catholic temple located in the square Monseñor Walfredo Gurgel, in the center of the city of Caicó in the interior of the state of Rio Grande do Norte in the south of Brazil. The cathedral is the seat of the bishop of the diocese of Caico and also the seat of the parish of Sant'Ana.[2] Its construction began symbolically on July 16, 1748,[3] when the parish of Santa Ana was installed. Its benefactor was Manoel Fernandes Jorge, and his first Vicar Fr. Francisco Alves Maia.

The cathedral of Santa Ana has the combination of Roman, Gothic and colonial styles, in harmony. The temple features a curvilinear frontispiece flanked by two bell towers. It has a central door. In the choir there are three windows protected by iron. Its interior consists of a presbytery, ships, choir and baptismal font.

In the year 1785 the Matriz Church of Sant'Ana was already built and the faithful could attend their religious events. Its conclusion will be carried out during the administration of the parish priest Francisco de Brito Guerra (1802-1845).
