The St. Charles Borromeo Cathedral[1] (Portuguese: Catedral São Carlos Borromeu)[2] Also São Carlos Cathedral[3] Is a Catholic temple located in the Don José Marcondes Homem de Melo Square, in São Carlos (SP) in the South American country of Brazil. It has a dome of more than 70 meters in height and 30 meters in diameter, which is an architectural replica of the one of the basilica of St. Peter in the Vatican City.

The cathedral was built in the place where the first chapel was erected, between the streets Conde do Pinhal and Trece de Mayo, in the central zone. The project is by Professor Ernfried Frick and has stained glass of Helmar, the altars are made of Carrara marble and the Via Sacra was executed by the artist of Sao Carlos "Almira Ragonesi Bruno". The image of St. Charles Borromeo dating from the foundation of the city, with the head and hands carved in wood, is in the cathedral.

With the creation of the Diocese of São Carlos, on June 7, 1908, the church of São Carlos was elevated to the category of cathedral.
