Staniszów [staˈniʂuf] (German: Stonsdorf) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Podgórzyn, within Jelenia Góra County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 6 km (4 mi) south of Jelenia Góra, and 97 km (60 mi) west of the regional capital Wrocław.

There used to be a Bismarck tower on the village's highest point, Prudelberg Hill, erected in 1901 when the area was part of Germany. The monument was destroyed after 1945; its base has been preserved.

The herbal bitter Echt Stonsdorfer, still produced in Germany, originated in this village.

As of 2011, the village had a population of 817.[2]
