The star-chested treerunner or fulvous-dotted treerunner (Margarornis stellatus) is a species of bird in the family Furnariidae. It is found in Colombia and Ecuador.

Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. It is threatened by habitat loss.
