"Stars" is the only single released by Mark Owen for his fourth album The Art of Doing Nothing. It was released on 3 May 2013, eight years since his last single "Hail Mary", which was released in 2005.

Music video[]

The music video was filmed in Berlin, Germany and was directed by James Slater and produced by Frank Hoffman. It has a total length of three minutes and forty-one seconds. It features Mark Owen wearing an astronaut suit going to several places in Berlin like the mall, the supermarket and a club. At the end of the video it shows Mark returning home with a family (also wearing astronaut suits).
