Stenoma obovata is a moth in the family Depressariidae. It was described by Edward Meyrick in 1931. It is found in Brazil.[1]

The wingspan is about 24 mm. The forewings are brown with a faint reddish tinge, minutely speckled whitish, towards the dorsum also sprinkled dark fuscous. The costal edge is rather dark brown. The hindwings are yellow whitish.[2]
