Stephanie Hardy (born 1979) is a Canadian singer-songwriter, from Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia.
Hardy is featured on three recordings; "Brand New Skin" – produced by Fred Lavery (2006),[1] Canso Causeway's Anniversary CD (2005), featuring Hardy's song "The Canso Causeway", and "Back To Your Shores" (2001) recorded on Cape Breton Fiddler 's second album Wings. Her song "Wonder Why" was named "Best Song Of The Month".[2] She has performed with the Dixie Chicks, George Canyon, Gordie Sampson and J.P. Cormier.[3]
Hardy has performed her original songs in a series of television commercials promoting Cape Breton Island tourism aired on CTV Atlantic.[4]
