Stephanie Klick (born August 19, 1956) is an American politician. A Republican, she is a member of the Texas House of Representatives representing District 91.^[1] She won the general election on November 3, 2020, and her current term ends on January 9, 2023.^[2]

Early life[]

Klick was born in Texas and grew up in House District 91. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth in 1981 and a Master of Public Health from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences in 1983.^[3]

Career[]

After graduating from BNSN, Klick returned to North Hills Medical Center, where she worked as a nurse and eventually got a job as a nursing assistant. In total, Klick has 35 years of nursing experience, as a consultant coordinating disaster victim care and as a member of the New York State Emergency Management Agency (NEMA).

In November 2012, Klick was elected to represent House District 91, which includes parts of Tarrant, Collin, Dallas, Fort Worth and Arlington counties. The state representative served as the chairwoman of the Tarrant County Party for six years.^[4]
